Dr. M. Drew Henshaw, is a 1996 graduate of Iowa State’s College of Veterinary Medicine. He has owned Oakwood Veterinary Hospital since 2007. Having a special interest in surgery, he joined the staff at Great Lakes Surgical Center and spent eight years in Grand Rapids practicing at the only veterinary referral surgical center in West Michigan at that time. Dr. Henshaw believes learning is a lifelong process and therefor regularly attends continuing education seminars on a variety of topics from medicine to surgery. Dr. Henshaw has two wonderful children. He also has a very active Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Indi, and rescue dog, Ella, who both keep everyone busy playing ball, tug of war, or hiking through the woods.
