Allison Gould

Ali re-joined our staff as a receptionist in 2019, after working for Oakwood previously. Originally from the Lansing area, she and her husband just moved back to Traverse City after a few wonderful years in the UP and coastal Oregon. During her childhood of showing dogs and horses in 4-H, and working weekends at a local horse barn, Ali knew she wanted to spend more of her time around animals, and in 2012 finally moved into working as a veterinary receptionist, where she continued to learn about animal care and medicine. When she isn’t assisting owners and their pets, she and her husband Kyle are probably out and about enjoying a local Michigan brewery with friends and family, tubing the Boardman River, skiing and snowboarding at Mt Holiday, or working on home improvements. Their family consists of their three cats; Scraps and Penny since 2005 and 2006, and Orval, who came to Oakwood as a homeless kitten in 2014 and went home in Alison’s arms the next day.
